Annual Survey of Industries for the year 2024-2025 was started in December 2024. The objective of the survey is to study about the registered manufacturing units and factories and survey was completed.

 

Survey on Input cost of Plantation crops in Kerala 2024-25

Survey on Input cost of Plantation crops in Kerala for the year 2024-25 started in December 2024. This survey is to calculate the input cost of plantation crops (Tea, Coffee, Rubber, Cardamom, Cashew) and derive some rates and ratios. This survey was completed.

 

Evaluation Survey of Soil Conservation Scheme 2024-25

Evaluation of soil conservation scheme is to evaluate the effectiveness of the soil conservation projects implemented by soil survey and soil conservation department. It is an annual survey and survey for the year 2024-25 started from July 2024. This survey was completed and report under prepration.

 

Cost of Cultivation Survey 2024-25

Cost of cultivation survey for the year 2024-2025 started from July 2024. It is an annual survey to estimate the cost of cultivation per hectare of principal crops in Kerala. This survey was completed and report under prepration.

 

Establishment of an Agency for Reporting Agricultural Statistics (EARAS) 2024-2025

Establishment of an Agency for Reporting Agricultural Statistics’ (EARAS) conducted annually and the objective of the scheme is collection of Agricultural Statistics which provides the estimates of Area under crops, production and yield rate and land utilization pattern of Agricultural Sector . Survey for the year 2024-2025 started from July 2024 was completed.

Agriculture Census 

Government of India has been conducting Agriculture Census quinquennially since 1970-71.  Phase I & II of this survey conducted in the year 2021-2022. The field survey was completed and SLCC approved. Phase III of the survey is conducted in 2022-2023 for which field survey completed.

 

Mission Antyodaya 2022

The Antyodaya mission was launched to aid people in rural areas. It aims to eliminate poverty. The Ministry of rural development recently launched Mission Antyodaya Survey 2022-23. The survey is to be conducted in two lakh sixty-nine thousand gram panchayats in the country. It is to be conducted using questionnaires. Around 21 areas will be covered. 183 indicators have been chosen to cover 21 areas. The areas covered in the survey include fisheries, agriculture, fuel and fodder, good governance, roads, communication, etc.

are the surveys completed in the State in 2023.

Study on impact of Covid-19 on Pravasis in Kerala due to Covid-19

This sample survey is also conducted in selected regions in rural and urban areas based on the NSS 78th Round FSU. The department investigators visited the households to collect the data on the impact of Covid-19 in Pravasis who were not returned from their home land after the relaxation of Covid-19 restrictions. 

 

Cost of Cultivation Survey 2023-24

This survey is conducted to collect information related to the cost of cultivation of important agricultural crops in the state. The Cost of Cultivation Survey for the year 2022-23 has been complete.

 

Soil Conservation Survey 2023-24

Soil Conservation Survey is an evaluation study of the soil conservation / flood prevention projects  implemented by the Soil Conservation department in each district. The survey for the year  2022-23 has been completed.

 

National Sample Survey (NSS) 2022-2023

The 79^th National sample Survey was conducted from July 2022 to June 2023.This survey was conducted to prepare the indices of sustainable development goals to be achieved by the country by 2030.The data underlying the sustainable development indices was collected through the CAMS survey and the information related to AYUSH treatment system was collected through the AYUSH survey. The survey is conducted to estimate the contribution of the  industrial sector to the country’s growth.The survey for the year 2020-21 started in April 2023.
